Dr. Joshua P. Freitag was born and raised in a small town a couple of miles outside of Greenville, SC. He completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University in 2011 and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville Dental School in 2015. While in dental school, Dr. Freitag was able to work with Indian Health Services in Cherokee, NC through an externship program. He also participated in Remote Area Medical (R.A.M.) providing dental services for impoverished populations. Dr. Freitag met his wife, who is from nearby Milton, GA, while both were in dental school and the two moved to Georgia after graduation.
Dr. Freitag enjoys serving others through dentistry and fostering a sense of community through his service. He enjoys all aspects of general practice including the restorative aspect of implant dentistry. Dr. Freitag is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society. He enjoys continuing education and looks forward to learning new techniques and procedures to expand the scope of procedures available to his patients.
When not at work, Dr. Freitag enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family. Playing tennis and spoiling his two dogs are some of Dr. Freitag’s favorite hobbies. Saturdays in the fall are usually spent cheering on the Tigers, whether it is at Death Valley for a Clemson game or at Jordan-Hare Stadium for an Auburn game, his wife’s alma mater.
